Asthma: A disease of the 1990s?

The growing number of asthmatics may be linked to increasing environmental pollutants to which people in industrial countries are subjected.

According to one theory, known as the "television theory," asthma is contemporary Americans' tendency to spend much of their time ind about on the living room floor while watching television and inhaling indoor allergens than Americans did a century ago.
